Barbara Paulette Reeves, of Oklahoma City, passed away April 7, 2017, at the age of 62.  She was born April 3, 1955, in Oklahoma City. 

Barbara enjoyed baking and was known for her cake decorating.  She was employed at the Wal Mart at I-240 & Santa Fe for approximately 11 years.  Barbara attended Moore High School.  She had grown up in the Crown Heights Area of Oklahoma City.  Barbara enjoyed watching “Big Brother,” “Survivor,” and “The Amazing Race.”She was an Oklahoma City Thunder and OU Sooners fan.  Barbara enjoyed listening to country music, going dancing with her husband, Philip and singing.  She enjoyed going out to dinner and she would have Philip take her to Texas Road House and House of Szechwan.  Barbara had a bubbly personality and never met a stranger. She was an amazing homemaker with a loving, kind and gentle heart with a zest for life.  Barbara always put her family first.  Her first love was being with her husband, Philip, her children, and especially her grandchildren. 

Barbara is survived by her husband, of over 17 years, Philip Scott Reeves, of the home; her mother, Charlotte Jeton, of Dibble; 1 daughter, Keria Campbell & husband, Tim, of Newalla; 2 sons, Paul Michael Sherwood, of Oklahoma City, and Doran Sherwood, of Moore; 4 step-sons, Mark Reeves & wife, Tina, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Jacob Reeves, of Stillwater, Aaron Reeves, of Stillwater, and Jordan Reeves, of Purcell; 2 brothers, Dewayne Farrah & wife, Colleen, of Moore and Gary Farrah, of Yukon; sister, Jonna; 4 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.  She is preceded in death by her father, Ernest Farrah. 

Funeral Services for Barbara will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 13, 2017, in the chapel of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home, located at 120 South Broadway, in Moore, Oklahoma.  Interment to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery, in Del City, Oklahoma.Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home.
